Helping kids find and follow Jesus

Sunday 9am & 10:30am

SR Kids is more than childcare while adults have real church. We offer learning opportunities for kids, birth-5th grade each Sunday.

It is a Christ-centered hour of Bible teaching, worship, games, and a make-take-tell which is a craft designed for kids to share their lesson with others. We also send home a parent sheet with an overview of the lesson, questions, and activities to do together as a family throughout the week.

A place to listen and view the sermon on a TV while having an area for parents and their young children together. This room is connected to a private room for nursing moms as well.

If you are a new family to SRCC, you can streamline your check-in process for Kids Ministry by completing the following New Family Visitor’s Form.  Just print off the page and give your completed form to the volunteers at the Kids Ministry Welcome Table.  From there, your kids will be assigned to a colored classroom according to their current age/grade level.

God wants you to serve Him.  Maybe it’s through working with kids! Most adults say they never anticipated growing as much as they do each week while sharing God’s Word with kids.  Whether you want to help once a month, every weekend, month on, month off, or just a special event, there are plenty of ways for God to use you in serving the next generation.

Let us know you are interested in serving with SR Kids by filling out the short form below.  We will follow up with you after your submission with more information about how you can get plugged in and start connecting with kids!

It is our goal to provide your children with the safest and most secure environment possible so that you can worship with the peace of mind knowing that your children are well cared for. Each time you check your child into SR Kids, we create a unique tag for them that’s matched to a parent identification number. Your child will wear that tag throughout the service. At pick up, one of our staff members or volunteers will make sure the identification numbers on both tags match your child to leave their classroom.

In addition, each week in SR Kids, we go over a list of rules for the kids to follow. These rules allow everyone to stay safe, have fun, and participate in the lesson.

Asking Jesus to be your Savior is a life-changing decision- one that is a huge deal!  If your child has decided to accept and Follow Jesus, we want to celebrate with them!

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision for Christ.  If your child has decided to take that next big step of baptism, we ask that you set up a meeting with Sarah or Abby to walk through a short baptism interview, tour the baptistery, ensure your child understands baptism, discuss steps for after baptizing, set up a baptism date, and ask any other questions.
